At PALETA, we are committed to supporting our community and preserving our planet’s resources for future generations.

With that in mind, we built SoCal’s first certified commercial GREEN kitchen, source our ingredients locally, and use eco-friendly packaging.

We offer our clients the option of eco-friendly Boxed Water with the purpose of keeping plastics out of our oceans and landfills.  We also implemented Meatless Mondays, a chance for clients to experience the delicious taste, variety, sustainability, and health benefits of a vegetarian diet.

In addition, PALETA proudly contributes to the following philanthropic organizations:
As a non-profit member-supported association, SLOW FOOD was founded in 1989 to counter the rise of fast food and fast life, the disappearance of local food traditions and people's dwindling interest in the food they eat, where it comes from, how it tastes and how our food choices affect the rest of the world.
GENEROSITY is dedicated to ending the clean water crisis in developing countries, one community at a time. Through innovative awareness campaigns, strategic implementation and in depth accountability, we hope to inspire people to think globally and live generously.
MERCY FOR ANIMALS is a national non-profit organization dedicated to preventing cruelty to farmed animals and promoting compassionate food choices and policies
FARM SANCTUARY works to protect farm animals from cruelty, inspire change in the way society views and treats farm animals, and promote compassionate vegan living.
FEED THE CHILDREN is a Christian, international, nonprofit relief organization with headquarters in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, that delivers food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to individuals, children and families who lack these essentials due to famine, war, poverty or natural disasters.
UNITED CEREBRAL PALSY (UCP) educates, advocates, and provides support services to ensure a life without limits for people with a spectrum of disabilities.
The JUNIOR LEAGUE OF LOS ANGELES is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Operating as a link between abundance and need; smart and simple, ANGEL HARVEST picks up good un-served food donated from companies and organizations then delivers it free and immediately to social service agencies providing emergency food to those in need.
Since 1989, TREES FOR THE FUTURE has been helping communities around the world plant trees. Through seed distribution, agroforestry training, and our country programs, we have empowered rural groups to restore tree cover to their lands. Planting trees protects the environment and helps to preserve traditional livelihoods and cultures for generations.
For more than three decades, the ANIMAL LEGAL DEFENSE FUND has been fighting to protect the lives and advance the interests of animals through the legal system. Founded in 1979 by attorneys active in shaping the emerging field of animal law, ALDF has blazed the trail for stronger enforcement of anti-cruelty laws and more humane treatment of animals in every corner of American life. Today, ALDF’s groundbreaking efforts to push the U.S. legal system to end the suffering of abused animals are supported by hundreds of dedicated attorneys and more than 100,000 members.
The SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS COUNCIL OF LOS ANGELES (SBC) is a non-profit organization which provides professional networking, mentoring, and educational forums to sustainable business professionals in Southern California. The organization's goal is to help members improve their operating efficiencies, profit margins, and staff productivity as they reduce the ecological impact of their products and services.
